Three Who Stayed is a non-canon Season Four bonus feature for ABC's Once Upon a Time. It was written by Jane Espenson.[1] It premiered on July 11, 2015,[1] and was released on the fourth DVD/Blu-ray set.

Plot

Done in an interview style, this short shows three characters who decided to stay in Storybrooke, despite everything that is going on.

New Characters

Jerry Peters

Jerry Peters is a Storybrooke character. He appears in a special Bonus of the second DVD/Blu-Ray of ABC's Once Upon a Time, and is portrayed by Patton Oswalt.[1] He is not a canon character.

History:
Jerry Peters is an accountant, whose primary client is pawnshop. Back in Fairy Tale Land, he worked as a bean counter for the Giants, but was eventually transported to Storybrooke by falling into the hat. He is 40 years old by the time Elsa's ice wall comes down.

Lara Lewis

Lara Lewis is a Storybrooke character. She appears in a special Bonus of the second DVD/Blu-Ray of ABC's Once Upon a Time, and is portrayed by Magda Apanowicz.[1] She is not a canon character.

History:
Lara Lewis is a 23-year old woman who works for Prince Phillip and Aurora as a babysitter for their infant son. She is the Blind Witch's daughter. Before she came to Storybrooke, she did a lot of cooking for the young children that came to her mother's house. However, she admits that she did actually cook children "once or twice".

Freida Norland

Freida Norland is a Storybrooke character. She appears in a special Bonus of the second DVD/Blu-Ray of ABC's Once Upon a Time, and is portrayed by Suanne Spoke.[1] She is not a canon character.

History:
Freida runs the Pressing Matters Dry Cleaners in Storybrooke, and came to Storybrooke with the first curse. Before that, she was known as Freyja, the Norse goddess. She is 1,359 years old by the the ice wall comes down.

  • Magda Apanowicz, who plays Lara Lewis, appeared on several episodes of the web television series Husbands, which Jane Espenson co-created and wrote.
  • The photograph of the Pressing Matters Dry Cleaners,[3] the business run by Freida, is an altered version of a stock photograph called "Old Town Main Street", which can be found on several online websites, including iStock[4] and Getty Images.[5] The name of the business has been digitally added to the awning, and additional text has been added to the windows.
