not only that but time didnt change yet we saw it with the rock in season one cause thats the way it was, emma/we needed to know that along with other things (being charming being stopped in the road by the tree, jewlery being stole ect.) in order to recognize the signs that things were going in the right direction when the time travel episode came up
I remember in 4x10 during The spell of Shattered Sight curse, David only said that Snow hit him in the face. David never mentioned the rock or the box.

No. That line was from the season four episode "Shattered Sight". The thing with the jewelry box took place in "Snow Drifts", at the end of Season Three.
I'm confused, what episode are we talking about here?
If we're talking about a line that happened before the Season 3 finale, then it's because Once Upon a Time functions on that weird kind of time travel that ignores pre-destination paradoxes, so the past can only be changed once the characters reach the point in the future where they go back and change the past (despite all the confusingness that that brings with it). Prior to the Season 3 finale, Snow Falls is canon, Snow Drifts is not.
It we're talking about a line that happened after the Season 3 finale, then it's an errorr. Any episodes that aired after the Season 3 finale use the canon of Snow Drifts, not Snow Falls.
It's confusing and is why I have vowed to never incorporate time travel into an otherwise non-time travel-based series and seriously wish others would do the same.

We're talking about a line from Season Four.

Must be a mistake.
I guess we're talking about Shattered Sight then? It's 4x10 but 4x09 doesn't have any references that I can think of (and I just rewatched the Frozen arc so in theory I should remember)
In Shattered Sight, David only says that she hit him in the face without specifying rock vs. box. So it's not an error.

You are correct. That incident is not referred to in 409, only in 410, and no rock is mentioned. He only says that she hit him in the face.
It is not a mistake, time was changed. The original story did not involve "Princess Leia" and "Prince Charles" it did not take place in a castle. There was no mistake there. They didn't know from the begining that time would change. We were watching from the time travelers point of view, they know the original story since they remember it because they are the time travelers. So, because we know them going back in time we would also know the story of them before. I don't really know how to explain but as a big fan of time travel shows that is a usual thing in time travel shows that the time traveler knows what happenend before they changed things
