SCENE: Agrabah. Past. Many years ago. In the busy marketplace, there is a blacksmith working in his shop.

Blacksmith: Boy? Boy, the fire's dying! Boy! (The boy enters from outside.)
Boy: There was no coal left, I had to go—
Blacksmith: No excuses! (He pushes the boy to the ground.) I should throw you back into the gutter where I found you.
Boy: No! Please!
Blacksmith: Maybe another night without food will remind you to be better prepared. (The blacksmith returns to his work. Outside, the townspeople all run in fear of a mysterious woman. The boy stares intently at the woman.)
Blacksmith: (whispers) Boy! Boy! Turn away! (The woman causally grabs produce from an unattended stall and makes a coin magically appear as payment, while the remaining townspeople in her presence are cowering in fear. The woman notices the boy is gazing at her.) Turn away! Boy! She'll burn us where we stand! (The woman stares him down, but he does not deter. She holds his gaze before moving on.)

SCENE: Agrabah. Past. Night. A house in the outskirts out looking the city. The boy slowly approaches the house and knocks on the door. The woman answers.

Boy: (gasps) I'm sorry to disturb you. I—
Woman: You work at the market.
Boy: Yes—
Woman: What are you doing here at my door?
Boy: I was wondering if you—
Woman: I'm not asking what you want. I'm asking, why you'd disturb me? You must know what I can do to you.
Boy: Death would be a kindness compared to the life I have ahead of me. I want you to teach me.
Woman: Teach you?
Boy: Dark magic. So that one day people will fear me, as they fear you.
Woman: No.
Boy: Please! I will work for you, do anything you want.
Woman: Magic's not something you use to simply fight off bullies.
Boy: That's not what—
Woman: Then what is it?
Boy: I want revenge.
Woman: On who? (The boy hesitates. The woman sighs.) Oh, go away, boy, before I turn—
Boy: The Sultan. (The woman is intrigued.)
Woman: And why would someone like you have any concern with the Sultan.
Boy: Because...he's my father.
Woman: Is this true? There's nothing more important between two people than honesty. To my eyes, you look nothing like royalty.
Boy: He abandoned me!
Woman: Why would the Sultan abandon his own flesh and blood?
Boy: Because, as he says, I am his bastard. I hate him with the fire of a thousand suns!
Woman: Finally...honesty. (She grabs the boy by the chin.) What's your name, boy?
Boy: Jafar.
Woman: Well, Jafar, tomorrow we will begin to see what you can do. (The boy smiles.)

SCENE: Wonderland. Present. Red Queen's palace. The Red Queen is being adorned with the royal jewels by Tweedledee and Tweedledum. She admires herself in front of a looking glass.

Red Queen: Fabulous. (The Red Queen hears a whooshing sound and clicks her tongue. Jafar magically appears.) There's a thing called the front door, darling. You really must try it sometime.
Jafar: I thought making our interactions secret would be more to your liking. After all, secrets seem to be a habit of yours. (The Tweedles look at the Queen worried.)
Red Queen: Tweedles, begone, dears.
Jafar: There's nothing more important...between two people...than honesty. Wouldn't you agree?
Red Queen: (lower voice)What's this about?
Jafar: Why didn't you tell me Alice brought a friend to Wonderland? This Knave of Hearts?
Red Queen: (normal voice) 'Cause it was an inconsequential detail. He's nothing but a cowardly thief. He's of very little concern to us.
Jafar: Actually, he's caused a great deal of trouble, so I'd say his presence is of great concern. Why did you bring him?!
Red Queen: Because it wasn't quite as simple as sending Alice an invitation. Otherwise, you'd have done it yourself. I needed someone that Alice trusted, and that someone happened to be the Knave. He's served his purpose.
Jafar: And now his purpose is done.
Red Queen: Precisely.
Jafar: Then there's no issue. Eliminate him. Remove him from the playing field.

SCENE: Wonderland. Present. Alice and Knave walk through the woods.

Knave: Going after the Red Queen is a bad idea, Alice.
Alice: She stole Cyrus' bottle. It only stands to reason that she has Cyrus as well.
Knave: So you're gonna go after the entire Red Army by yourself?
Alice: If that's what it takes.
Knave: There's a smarter way to do this.
Alice: Is there now?
Knave: Play with the hand you've been dealt, Alice.
Alice: I've seen your cards, Knave, and they're quite lacking.
Knave: Which is exactly the time to start bluffing. Look, the White Rabbit, he has no idea that we know he's working for the Queen. We need to use that to our advantage, fool him into telling us where Cyrus is. (sniffs)
Alice: Or we could pick him up by the feet, dangle him over a cliff until he tells us everything he knows.
Knave: We need to work on your poker face. (Indistinct voices are heard in the distance.)
Alice: Did you here that?
Knave: I did.
Alice: Ooh. (The indistinct voices sound closer. They duck behind a bush.) Someone's following us.
Knave: By the sounds of things, I'd say several someones.
Alice: Do you recognize them?
Knave: They work for the Caterpillar. They're Collectors.
Alice: (gasps) What are our options?
Knave: Well, basically, we could die, or we could run.
Alice: I don't particularly care for the first one.
Knave: Me, neither. Left or right?
Alice: Left.
Knave: Okay. (They start running through the woods.)
Collector: Where'd he goes?! (The collectors follow in pursuit. Alice and Knave lose them and they hide in a large tree stump.)
Knave: I'm the one they want. We should split up.
Alice: We should stay and fight.
Knave: Or better idea: You stay, I go. Oi! Over here!
Alice: Will, no!
Knave: I'll be fine. I know these woods like the back of my hand— (He trips.) I'm fine! Meet you back in Tulgey.
Alice: Will! (The Collectors chase after Knave. Worried, Alice holds her pendent) It's okay, Cyrus. This is just a detour. I'll be with you soon.

SCENE: Wonderland. Present. Jafar's Tower. Cyrus thoughts are interrupted by the drunken guard's belching.

Cyrus: Please, sir. I haven't eaten for days.
Drunken Guard: You should've thought of that before you did whatever it is you did.
Cyrus: You're right. I-I've made some terrible mistakes, but I'm starving. Could you even spare a bone? Just a little taste. (The guard throws him his carcass.)
Drunken Guard: See if you can find a morsel out of that.
Old Prisoner: In all the days we've been here together, I've never seen you grovel like that for anything, let alone food.
Cyrus: Because I'm not interested in food. (He shows him the wishbone.)
Old Prisoner: You wanted a bone?
Cyrus: It's a wishbone.
Old Prisoner: (chuckles) You're going to wish yourself out of this place? (He goes back to lie down.)
Cyrus: Something like that. (Cyrus breaks the wishbone.)

SCENE: Wonderland. Present. Knave runs through the woods and hides behind a large tree stump.

Collector: We must of missed him. You go this way. I'll double back. Look along the bank. (Knave smiles and then hears punches being thrown followed by groans. He tries to see through a hole of the stump to see what happened. Everything's quite still, so he decides to have a closer look. He sees all the collectors knocked out cold on the floor.)
Knave: Alice?
Red Queen: (off screen) Do you really think she could've done this all by herself?
Knave: Bloody hell.
Red Queen: Hello, Will. (Knave looks behind him to see the Red Queen.)

SCENE: Agrabah. Past. Amara's House. A much older Jafar is listening to his friend Akil's story of his goat.

Akil: (laughing.) So...So I'm scrabbling down the rock face to try and save him when the stupid goat, he sees a scrub. No bigger than a chickpea. But he has to eat it. He takes one step (Imitates goat bleats.)
Jafar: One can never underestimate the stupidity or the appetite of a goat.
Akil: Yes.
Jafar: Thanks for saving him, Akil. Even if he didn't deserve it. (Jafar pats the goat.)
Akil: It is my job.
Jafar: We have this wine for you, as a reward for your good work.
Akil: Oh, thank you, Jafar. May you rest easy. (Jafar enters the house and Akil and the goat enjoy their winnings. Jafar notices Amara is reading from a book and approaches her.)
Amara: No, not yet.
Jafar: When are you going to let me study the spells inside that book?
Amara: When you're ready. Which of now, you're not. It is however, time to teach you the masking spell. Which you've been so eager to learn.
Jafar: But I thought you said, we couldn't because it requires a human liver.
Amara: It does. But you've just gotten us one. The wine you gave Akil. It was poisoned. He'll be dead any moment now. (Jafar stands up and sees Akil outside; struggling to breath through the window.)
Jafar: But Akil did nothing.
Amara: Quite right. He's a fine man. (Amara takes out a small bottle.) And this is the antidote to the poison. (Jafar immediately takes it.) If you wish you can give it to him. But if you do we won't have the liver. And you won't be able to learn the spell. Do you know what this is, Jafar? (Holding up her necklace.)
Jafar: A serpent.
Amara: Do you know why I surround myself with such creatures.
Jafar: No.
Amara: It is because of their true essence. Their most important quality...that when they need to...they shed their skin and are reborn. And that is what you need to do, Jafar.
Jafar: By letting an innocent die?
Amara: By showing me, that you're willing to do what is necessary to get what you want. Are you? Are you still that little boy that came to my door, full of anger but little else. (Jafar places the antidote on the table. Akil's scrabbling stops.) Well, now we know. (Amara grabs Jafar's hand and caresses her necklace with it.) Hmm. Congratulations, Jafar. You are reborn. (Amara caresses Jafar's hair and kisses him.)

SCENE: Wonderland. Present. Jafar's Tower. Jafar is looking through a book and is interrupted by Tweedledee speaking through a looking glass.

Tweedledee: Sire. She's got him, the Knave of Hearts. They're on their way back to the palace.
Jafar: Excellent.
Tweedledee: Is there anything...else I can do for you?
Jafar: No, I shall take it from here. Remind me to reward you for your good work.
Tweedledee: Of course.

SCENE: Wonderland. Present. Red Queen's palace's dungeon. Red Queen locks Knave in a dungeon cell. She waits for the guards to leave.

Red Queen: You should've never come back to Wonderland, Will. So will did your girlfriend, Alice offer you that was so enticing enough for you to overcome your survival instincts, hm?
Knave: She's not me girlfriend. I'm clearly not attracted to nice, normal women.
Red Queen: What have you been up to all these years, Will? Still begging, boring and stealing.
Knave: Bloody hell. You may have fooled all these people into believing you're some kind of queen, but I know who you really are...Anastasia.
Red Queen: You really never knew when to stop fighting, Will.
Knave: How long are you going to keep me here?
Red Queen: How 'bout we start with forever and work our way back from there.(The Red Queen walks out.)

SCENE: Wonderland. Present. A drunk man exits the mushroom door to Underland. Alice watches from a distance waiting for the right time. The man walks away and Alice draws her sword making her way to the door.

Woman: (off screen.) Here's not in there.
Alice: Who's not in there?
Woman: You're looking for the Knave, right. He ain't in there.
Alice: How do you know?
Woman: Because if he was, I'd be inside collecting a reward.
Alice: You're one of those collectors, that was chasing him.
Woman: And unfortunately, not the one catching him.
Alice: Wait, did someone catch him?
Woman: I can tell ya, see I got this thing where it's hard me be straight with people pointing swords at me. (Alice puts down her sword.) The Red Queen's got 'im.
Alice: Are you quite sure?
Woman: Oh yeah. I got the bruises to prove it.
Alice: Well, I know what I have to do. Thank you, Miss...
Woman: Elizabeth. But most people call me Lizard.
Alice: Alice. Wish me luck.
Lizard: Whoa, whoa. Wait, wait. You're going after him.
Alice: No. I'm going after her.
Lizard: Ha! The Red Queen. You can't go there by yourself.
Alice: Why does everybody keep telling me that.
Lizard: Maybe because it's true. Fine. Hell with it. I'm coming with ya.
Alice: I'm quite certain I didn't ask you to.
Lizard: Whatever, the Knave owes me and a dead man can't pay debts. (Lizard walks ahead and Alice follows.)

SCENE: Wonderland. Present. Red Queen sits in front of a chessboard playing against no one. She decides to move a pawn, to which Jafar magically appears.

Jafar: Congratulations, your Majesty.
Red Queen: About what?
Jafar: Such a quick capture of the Knave.
Red Queen: News travels fast.
Jafar: Yes, it does, doesn't? But I just have to ask, why is he still breathing?
Red Queen: Pardon?
Jafar: The Knave. I understand, he's locked in your dungeon. I was just curious as to why that is.
Red Queen: You wanted him removed, so he's removed.
Jafar: But he's no use to us locked away where no one can him...
Red Queen: You want me to put him outside in the gallows—
Jafar: I want you to put his head on the chopping block! A public execution! So everyone will see the price for helping Alice in Wonderland!
Red Queen: (through gritted teeth.) Did it ever occur to you, Jafar, that he might be more useful to us alive than dead.
Jafar: More use to us? Or more use to you.
Red Queen: Do you have something to say?
Jafar: Do you? First, you forget to tell me this Knave was helping Alice. Now you seem reluctant to kill him. It makes me wonder if perhaps there's a reason for your inaction. It's time to find if your a woman who's prepared to do whatever it takes to get what she wants. Or just a little girl with a stolen crown and nothing else. Let me be clear...this time. Kill him. (Jafar leaves.)

SCENE: Agrabah. Past. Amara's House.

Amara: This book contains all the world's wisdom about genies. (Jafar caresses the book.)
Jafar: Genies. That's what you refused to share with me all this time.
Amara: Well, I had to wait until you were ready. And you are. Inside these pages is a spell that only the power of the three genies will allow us to cast. The spell's so powerful that even I, with all my magic could not attempt to learn. But now I have a partner. (Amara kisses Jafar on the cheek.)
Jafar: What kind of spell could be so difficult that requires both of us.
Amara: One that if we succeed will make us the most powerful sorcerers the world has ever known. We will be able to change the very laws of magic. And once we do that, all we desire will be at our fingertips.
Jafar: And you wish to share this with me. Your generosity, I don't know how I could ever repay it.
Amara: I've waited many, many years to find someone worthy of this, Jafar. Just like you've waited years to seek your revenge. Not only on your father who casted you out. But all those who ever belittled you. Or doubted you.
Jafar: No one has ever showed me such kindness.
Amara: No one...has ever loved you as I do. (Jafar drops the book opened to a page of a genie lamp as they kiss passionately.)

SCENE: Wonderland. Present. Jafar's Tower. Jafar admires the exact same genie lamp now in his possession sitting on a shelf. Next to it is the second lamp, along with an empty space for Cyrus' bottle. At that very moment, in the dungeon, Cyrus is sharpening his wishbone along the side of his cage. He pricks his finger, drawing blood. The Old Prisoner looks on with curiosity.

Cyrus: Almost there.
Orang: (off screen.) What are you doing?
Cyrus: Excuse me?
Orang: Show me your hands.
Cyrus: I don't understand.
Orang: You're holding something. I saw it. Show me your hands. (Cyrus lifts up his empty hands. Unbeknownst to the guard, Cyrus has the wishbone hooked behind his fingers.) Alright. (Orang causally walks back, but suddenly, he undoes the lever, causing Cyrus' cage to fall, making him drop the wishbone right before the guard. He picks it up.) Sharp. It must of taken you a long time. (Orang drops it into the abyss below and laughs. Cyrus looks on, disheartened.)

SCENE: Wonderland. Present. Alice and Lizard continue towards the Red Queen's palace.

Alice: The Queen's palace is a tricky place.
Lizard: I know. I, ah, pickpocket the Tweedles every six months or so.
Alice: And you never got caught.
Lizard: Learn from the best.
Alice: The Knave?
Lizard: Of course.
Alice: You're not doing this for a payment of a financial debt, are you? (Lizard takes off her hat.)
Lizard: I was on the streets. He took me in, gave me a place to sleep. Taught me everything I know.
Alice: Well, sorry to hear that.
Lizard: Oh, come on. I know he can be difficult but his heart's in the right place. Thanks to you.
Alice: Sounds like you two were close friends. Unless...wait, were you two...
Lizard: No! Ah, no. I mean...that would never...Will and I, we just ran together. You know, stealing. Sometimes for the Caterpillar...and sometimes just for fun.
Alice: You'd rob people for fun.
Lizard: Will kind of went through a dark period after the whole Anastasia thing.
Alice: That's that name again. Anastasia. Who is this girl?
Lizard: Never met her. But whoever she is, she completely wrecked him. Everyone says Will left Wonderland 'cause of his debts but I don't think so. This place reminded him of her. I think he just couldn't take it anymore.

SCENE: Wonderland. Present. Red Queen's palace. The Red Queen visits Knave.

Knave: What are you doing 'ere? I thought the whole point of becoming Queen was that you would never have to get your hands dirty again.
Red Queen: Well, I still get my hands dirty. The only difference is now I get people to clean them off for me.
Knave: So, you've just come to gloat. Remind yourself that you did the right thing all those years ago.
Red Queen: That's not why...
Knave: Then why?!
Red Queen: ...I came to tell you that in a few minutes the White Rabbit will be here with instructions to take you out of Wonderland and back to where he found you.
Knave: Will he now?
Red Queen: Will, I'm serious.
Knave: This the part where you catch me escaping. Give you an excuse to kill me.
Red Queen: Oh, I don't need an excuse to kill you. I need an excuse not to kill you. I'm involved with people who want you dead.
Knave: Since when did you do what anyone tells ya?
Red Queen: No, you don't understand. I'm trying to make it up to you.
Knave: I don't need your pity! Ana.
Red Queen: Actually, you do. Because without my pity, you won't have a lot of things including your head! So when the Rabbit gets here—
Knave: I'm not going.
Red Queen: Oh, don't be a fool now, Will.
Knave: If I'm a fool, it's only because you made me one. You're a terrible person who does terrible things to people. I think there's one thing you won't even do.
Red Queen: What's that?
Knave: Kill me. In fact, I dare you to kill me. Because, personally, I don't think you got it in ya.
Red Queen: You should know better than anyone that the surest way to make me do something is to tell me that I can't.
Knave: You can't. (The Red Queen walks away angrily.)

SCENE: Wonderland. Present. Alice and Lizard notice a large crowd gathered up ahead. A villager walks by.

Alice: Excuse me? What's going on here?
Villager: There's going to be an execution.
Alice: (Alice approaches the crowd.) Excuse me? Pardon me? (Alice draws her sword.) I have a blade. (The crowd parts. Alice approaches the sign on the tree.)
Lizard: What's it say?
Alice: The Knave. They're executing him...today.

SCENE: Wonderland. Present. Red Queen's palace. A crowd has gathered in front of the castle waiting for the execution. Alice and Lizard draw near. Alice notices a catapult.

Alice: What's the catapult for? (The executioner slices a watermelon on the chopping block and the halves roll into the catapult.)
Lizard: You catch the head, you get a free dinner. (The catapult flings the watermelon over the castle wall. The crowd applauds.)
Alice: Still as barbaric as ever. (Trumpets are blown and the crowd cheers as the Red Queen appears from her balcony.) We have to save Will.
Lizard: Do you have an idea? Because this is looking bleak.
Alice: As a matter of fact, I do. (Tweedledee sees Alice through the crowd and then he runs off to tell his superior.)
Jafar: (to the Red Queen.) Now where's that smile. You know the one. The one that loves a good beheading. (The Red Queen smiles.)
Red Queen: It's right here.
Jafar: Anything wrong, partner?
Red Queen: No. Just you constantly interfering in my affairs.
Jafar: I think it's your affairs that are interfering with me.
Red Queen: If you got something to say, spit it out.
Tweedledee: (puffing) Alice is here. In the courtyard.
Red Queen: Well, have the guards seize her. We don't won't her ruining things for me--
Jafar: No! Just...just keep an eye on her. It's time for us to see how far she's willing to go to get what she wants. (Jafar knowingly stares at the Red Queen.)

SCENE: An unknown land. Past. Gerard the barkeep dries glass cups in his tavern. Jafar enters.

Gerard: We are closed.
Jafar: I'm not here for a drink.
Gerard: If it's women you seek, that's upstairs.
Jafar: I want the genie in your possession.
Gerard: (scoffs) I don't have a genie.
Jafar: Don't bother denying it. Rumors travel great distances, sir, when magic is involved.
Gerard: I'm sorry you've come so far for nothing. I'm not ready to pass on the bottle. I still have one more wish to make. And I'm saving it for just the right thing. And I'm in no hurry.
Jafar: But I am. (Jafar magically closes and locks the door.)
Gerard: Who are you?
Jafar: The last person you'll ever see unless you give me what I want. You see...(Jafar pulls out a dagger.) I will be leaving here with the genie. The question is, will you be leaving here at all?
Gerard: (leans forward over the counter.) If you are so interested in genies, then you know that you can't kill me. The only way that you can become the new master is for me to make all of my wishes. (Jafar stabs the barkeeps hand to the counter. He tries to pull it out with his other hand but Jafar grabs that hand and again stabs it.)
Jafar: You're right. I can't kill you. But I can inflict so much pain that no wish will ever seem worth it.
Gerard: I wish that you can do me no harm. (Orange smoke returns to a bottle that is on the shelf behind him. His wounds are healed.)
Jafar: As wishes go, that is one of the wiser ones I've heard. (Jafar grabs the bottle and heads out.)
Gerard: Go back to the gutter, you bastard.
Jafar: What did you say?
Gerard: You heard me.
Jafar: Perhaps I did. But I would like to hear you say it again.
Gerard: Did you forget about my wish? You can't hurt me anymore.
Jafar: True. But she can't (Jafar magically unlocks the door. Amara enters carassing Jafar's face.)
Gerard: Please...don't kill me. I beg you.
Amara: I think you'll find there are far worse things than death. (Amara destroys the man in a cloud of dark smoke. Jafar pours himself a drink.) We're now one bottle away. (Jafar hands a cup to Amara.) To us.
Jafar: To us.

SCENE: Wonderland. Present. Red Queen's palace. A crowd has gathered in front of the castle waiting for the execution. Alice and Lizard draw near. Alice notices a catapult.

Knave: Don't you ever clean these things? (The Executioner approaches with his axe. He lunges back to swing, but suddenly, slices the ropes off Knave, and then knocks out the guards using the end of the ax. The Executioner then takes the mask off to reveal Alice!) Bloody hell. (Alice and Knave jumps onto the catapult. Alice kicks the lever and they're flung over the castle wall.)

SCENE: Wonderland. Present. Wonderland Maze. Alice and Knave run through maze with the castle far behind them. They stop to take a breathe.

Knave: I thought I was bollocks.
Alice: If the executioner was six inches taller, you would've been.
Knave: Alright. How the bloody hell do you get out of here? (Lizard grabs Knave's shoulder.) Lizard: Come on. This way.
Alice: Lizard, you knocked him out cold.
Knave: What were you thinking? You both could've been killed.
Alice: A simple thank you would suffice.
Knave: Thank you. You too, Lizard.
Guard: To the right. Follow me.
Lizard: We got company. We better go.
Guard: There over here! Come on. (Alice, Lizard and Knave run through the maze until they reach an opening in the maze. Jafar, on a flying carpet, lands before them.)
Jafar: Hello, Alice.
Lizard: Who the hell is that?!
Alice: I'll tell you later. We need to get out of here. (They turn to run only to be met with the Red Queen, her Tweedles and the guard.)
Red Queen: Leaving so soon.
Lizard: I'll distract them. You guys run.
Knave: Liz, no! (Lizard throws her knife, but Jafar magically deflects it and throws her to the side.)
Alice: Lizard!
Jafar: I suppose it's time we met. My name is—
Alice: I know who you are, Jafar. Cyrus has told me all about you.
Jafar: Interesting. It seems I have learnt a little about you today, as well, Alice.
Alice: And what was that?
Jafar: That you're willing to do anything for a friend. Quite touching actually. (Jafar begins to choke Knave.)
Alice: Stop! He's done nothing. Please, I beg you.
Jafar: You don't have to beg, Alice. Just wish.
Knave: Anastasia. (Alice looks towards the Red Queen.)
Red Queen: Just make a bloody wish, Alice!
Alice: I wish that if the Knave of Hearts die, then I die.
Cyrus: Alice, no... (Jafar drops Knave. Alice runs over to him.)
Jafar: Well played, Alice. Well played. That's one wish down and two to go.
Alice: You'll have to kill me first. Oh wait, you can't now, can you?
Jafar: True. I need you alive to make your wishes. But I don't need you whole.
Knave: Alice. (Jafar picks up Alice and begins to stretch her magically. Alice cries in agony.)
Jafar: All you have to do is wish for me to stop...And the pain will go away. Such sweet relief can be yours for the bargain price of a few words.
Alice: I will never put Cyrus at your mercy.
Jafar: Are you sure about that?
Alice: You'll have to kill me, Jafar. 'Cause, I will never, ever wish for you. (Jafar gives up and drops Alice.)
Knave: Alice, are you alright?
Alice: Yes.
Knave: Come on. Let's get out of here while we still can.
Jafar: Whilst it's true I might not be able to kill either of you. I think you'll find Alice, there are worse things than death. (Jafar points his staff towards Knave and a dark smoke begins to form round Knave.)
Knave: I can't move. What's happening? Alice, what's happening?
Alice: (to the Red Queen.) Stop him! Make him stop. (Knave is turn completely to stone.)
Jafar: You were right, Your Majesty. He was more useful alive than dead. So you won't use your wishes to help yourself. Then I will keep destroying all the things you care about, hurting all the people you love until you have no other choice. You have a weakness, Alice. I've seen it today. You have a heart. And trust me I will exploit him.
Alice: (to the Red Queen.) Help him.
Red Queen: Why would I want to do that, darling? (Alice slaps her. The Tweedles move forward to grab Alice, but the Red Queen motions her hands in the air to stop them.)
Alice: Because you care.
Red Queen: You don't know me.
Alice: Yes I do. You're Anastasia. You can help him.
Red Queen: You can help with your wish! (Alice goes for a punch. But the Red Queen magically stops her.) You keep on doing that dearie.
Alice: What?! You'll kill me? You can't. You think you have the advantage but you don't.
Red Queen: I'm not the one whose friend has turned to stone. And whose love is in my possession. Now, you can carry on behaving like the little girl when we very first met or you can grow up. And do what common sense compels you to do. Either way you know where to find me.
Alice: You're not...going to put me in prison, torture me. Let me rot. til I do your bidding.
Red Queen: (scoffs) Don't you see, darling? You are in prison. What do you think Wonderland is? You're mine, Alice. And from now on things are only going to get worse until you do what you must. Wish. (The Red Queen leaves. Alice cries. She walks up to her friend and stares helplessly.)

SCENE: Wonderland. Present. Jafar's Tower. Jafar walks towards the hanging cages and stops at Cyrus' cage.

Jafar: (sighs) I'm sure you already know, but your precious love used her first wish today. I think you know what that means. Soon the cage won't be necessary because you will be back where you belong. In your bottle. (He looks towards the Old Prisoner and bows. He then leaves.)

SCENE: Agrabah. Past. Amara's House. Jafar enters the bedroom with cups of wine.

Amara: What's the occasion?
Jafar: I've heard a rumor.
Amara: The third genie.
Jafar: Right here in Agrabah. (The tap the glasses and have a sip)
Amara: With how far we've traveled to get the others, that would be a welcome change. (Amara puts her cup down. Jafar caresses Amara's face.)
Jafar: I'm confident I will soon have the third genie. Then I will be ready to do the spell.
Amara: You mean we will be ready to do the spell? Jafar... (Jafar begins to walk out. Amara weakly follows him.)
Jafar: Do you remember long time ago, you ask me what I was willing to do to get what I want? (Amara falls to the ground.)
Amara: What have you done?
Jafar: It's a potion to steal your magical essence. But then again you probably know that. It was in your book.
Amara: You loved me.
Jafar: No, you loved me.
Amara: Please, Jafar. Don't do this. You know you can't complete the spell on your own. No one person can achieve that much power alone.
Jafar: I won't be alone. I'll have you. And your magic. Now it's time for you, like the serpent you so admire, to shed your skin. (Jafar transform Amara into a snake.) Congratulations, Amara. You have been reborn. (Jafar grabs the snake and it becomes a golden staff.)

SCENE: Wonderland. Present. Jafar's Tower. Cyrus takes out the other half of the wishbone.

Old Prisoner: (chuckles) You have the other half.
Cyrus: It's a myth, what you've heard about wishbones. (Meanwhile, the Red Queen visits Knave as Lizard curiously watches from behind a maze hedge.) That when you break them whoever has the larger half gets a wish... (Jafar places his serpent staff down in his room and it blinks.) It's a story created long ago by genies to make people believe that you did not have to seek out a bottle (The scene shifts to elsewhere in Wonderland, where Alice stares blankly into the starry sky.) To have what you desired. And so to this day, people keep pulling wishbones apart hoping magic will spill out of them. But what a wishbone really wants is no different from what we all want. (Cyrus places the wishbone half on the bottom of the cage.) To be joined to our other half. And if we're separated. You will do whatever it takes to be together again... (The other half of the wishbone floats towards Cyrus' half and begins to pierce through as Cyrus carves along the metal.) Just like a wishbone.
