Nick Eversman was born on February 15. 1986 in Madison, Wisonsin. In high school, he performed in plays and musicals, and later performed with The Second City, an improvisational comedy enterprise based in Chicago. His big break came when cast in the Chicago-based movie Innocent in 2009, while his first regular TV role came as Ashley Judd's kidnapped son in the mystery thriller drama television series Missing.
Nick was later cast as The Rolling Stones singer Mick Jagger in Get on Up, a 2014 biographical drama film about the life of singer James Brown. He won the role by auditioning and by sending in a side-by-side comparison of himself and the real Mick Jagger, and also sent in a recording he did for the HBO TV movie Cinema Verite in which he sang The Rolling Stones' classic Time Is on My Side. The same year, he booked a part opposite Reese Witherspoon in the biographical survival drama film Wild. In 2015, he played Mae Whitman’s love interest in the teen comedy film The Duff, a movie about a high school senior (Whitman) who instigates a social pecking order revolution after finding out that she has been labeled the DUFF (Designated Ugly Fat Friend) to her prettier more popular friends.
Other roles of note include the science fiction television series The Tomorrow People, the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D episode "Devils You Know", the spoof horror film Vampires Suck, and the docudrama miniseries When We Rise, a series that chronicles the gay rights movement in the United States.
