  • About your comments about the Season Seven article: Please do not make comments like "Lady, what does "recently" mean to you?" and "Last I checked this was Once Upon A Time wiki, not Once Upon A Lady Junky wiki". You are free to disagree with other users, but please do not talk to others in a condescending way. If you feel the discussion is going nowhere, it is better to ask other people for their opinion; condescending remarks are not constructive and only makes things worse. I hope you understand. Oh, and for the record, I actually agree with you about the Charles Mesure situation :-)

    • Please be aware that given your history, I will have no choice but to block you for some time if there is another incident like this. Please do not let it come to that.

    • Fair enough, but let us not forget Lady also often gets rude and argumentative with users. If I recall correctly, it is one of the reasons Lady was demoted from an admin position. Anyway, I will try my best to not get upset though, and just open up a thread or bring my concern to an admin first. Thanks.

  • Hey, CDA

I enjoy the bumps, but could we limit them to a slightly more fruitful number. For clarity's sake, I mean "when there's more to discuss" or a prompt that has more to it that equally standard bumps. Partially, it's because it's slightly wasteful/not as conducive to a fruitful discussion and partially because I get a whole bunch of notifications that end up with a standard bump.

Not a warning or a real issue, just a quality of life one (like bumping 7x19 and 7x20 make less sense because the filming is going on/has yet to commence).

    Thanks,

    Esk

    • Yeah, sorry, I just hate when the upcoming episode threads get buried under a bunch of other stuff (especially when some of it isn't really that important). And yeah, I considered not bumping 719 and 720, but then I figured I might as well give my thoughts on those episodes FBs as well. XD

  • (so we don't clog up the thread)

I mean maybe I am wrong about the 3 because I haven't watched the show in a while there were a lot more of scenes with all 4 of them together than just Athos and d'Artagnan. Then in s3 the writers decided to give them all separate plots (for some reason), so they hardly spent any time together

      Preparing Editor Spell
    • Alright, I guess that makes sense about the 4 of them being in a group. Weird about spliting them up in Season 3, but like you said, it's the writer's story to tell, not ours.

  • Please do not engage users in an accusatory manner. Antagonizing someone regardless of situation is not the best way of handling a situation.

If you cannot do this and follow forum policy, further action will take place.

    • I'm not trying to antagonize anyone. I've pointed out the problem to you, and I've made Killian aware as well. I hope it gets dealt with shortly.

I've read the posts and it appears to be so. It's seems direct and purposeful, especially accusing others of being certain users which is certaintly off-topic.

Well, if we are going to let banned users just make new accounts every time they are banned, than your (indirect) threat to ban me holds no weight either, as I can just create a new account, and if asked if I'm CoolDudeAl, just say "no". Even you admitted it seemed the person was probably Nicky when I first came to you.

Was it right to derail other threads that the community uses to take matters into your own hand?

The answer is no. I doesn't matter what I thought could be the case. It's not my job to ban individuals, nor is it yours to derail a thread in such a manner. Let due process occur and wait. Making matters worse helps no one.

Heed the warning, take these things into consideration, as I close this conversation.

  • Let's leave personal thoughts and comments aside, especially within a thread of a different topic. Everyone has a right to their opinion and if you find trouble or a less flexible debate, try not to engage as it affects others in the community.

    Thanks,

    Esk

    • Esk, this is clearly the same person (even though they are saying they are not, they have the same arguements and the same writing style), and we had to ban them before. I'm going to try to not engage, but they are going to argue with everyone who doesn't agree with them, so can we please get an admin involved sooner rather than later. Like you said, it winds up effecting everyone trying to use the threads. Thanks for listening again.

  • Stop making comments like this. If you are not actually suggesting something, do not comment asking other people to do it.

      Preparing Editor Spell
    • Well, I'd like to suggest something, I just couldn't think of a good quote. I was thinking maybe something he said to Rapunzel in the scene where he gave her the cloak, I probably should have said that in the comment. My bad.

        Preparing Editor Spell
    • Do not comment unless you have a specific quote. Paraphrasing the quote you want is fine (someone will be able to find the exact quote), but "does anyone have a quote for this?" is unnecessary.

        Preparing Editor Spell
    • Got it. Will try to make sure to do that in the future.

  • Her related to Swan Lake according to the writers of Once Upon a Time Emma Swan got the name Swan because she's related to Swan Lake but according to the Wikipedia she is Loosely based on that story

      Preparing Editor Spell
    • You need a source that is not Wikipedia. Wikipedia can be edited by anyone. And the creators have never said Emma is based on Swan Lake, not anything I've ever seen. Feel free to show me a source that says otherwise though.

  • This is going to be your last warning. If you want to stay on the wiki, as I'm sure you do, you are going to have to stop looking for trouble. You dislike Farerb's opinions just as much as I do, but it gives you no right to attack him. Especially when we got a separate thread for him and others to voice their ridiculously negative opinions. You deliberately went INTO that thread, knowing fully well what you would find, and attacked him. If I ever see you looking for a fight like this again, you will be permanently blocked.

Please avoid answering something like "I wasn't trying to be rude." because that is the excuse you have used over and over again. I will not accept it anymore. I hope this is the last time you do something like this.

    • And those users should get warned as well when a staff member sees this kind of behavior. I suggest you start paying attention to your behavior before trying to accuse others.

        Preparing Editor Spell
    • Alright, well, I am going to make sure that I let you know if someone is being condesending, because this is not just a "me" problem. Thanks, and enjoy the rest of your week.

  • Okay. I understand that he has been reimagined by someone. But what I mean is that if the stories are subject (ie, they are continuations) of the true stories. For example, in the fourth season of Once Upon a Time, Elsa says that Hans is planning to attack Arendelle. I want to know if this in Frozen 2 has to happen or it might not.

      Preparing Editor Spell
    • Frozen is canon to the Once universe, but Once is not canon to the Frozen universe. So no, what happened on Once will not effect Frozen 2.

  • Your posts are being deleted because you refuse to stay on topic. You keep coming back at other users, it's not the first time I see you trying to get the last word on a discussion, trying to outwit people who disagree with you and showing zero respect for the actual discussion that is taking place around you.

Your posts will not be deleted when you start caring about where you voice your opinion, because sometimes you end up giving unsolicited counterproductive and even rude comments where they don't belong.

    • You're just proving my point, you seem to have a desperate need to always have the last word. I police everyone, and even if you want to make that sound like a bad thing, it's one of the responsibilities I have as an admin.

Now please move on. I will not play the I-have-the-last-word game, so you can either accept that your posts did not belong in that thread, or you can ask another staff member for extra clarification. All I have to say about this matter is already on this thread.

        Preparing Editor Spell
    • I was just making a point that Farerb was being rather inflammatory to me, ironically in a thread where we are discussing how people's negativity is bothering people, and what we should do about it. It is fine, I'm not asking for the post to be restored, I was just curious as to the reasoning. And yes, I do like to have the last word, but that's because if someone else still has something to say, I feel that we are not done with the discussion, and I don't want to be rude by ignoring them. If I have the last word, I know the conversation is over. Just a quirk of mine.
