Biography
Jamie Jilynn Chung was born on April 10, 1983[1] in San Francisco, California to first-generation traditional Korean-American parents.[2] She was a student at Lowell High School until graduating in 2001.[3] While taking on waitressing job at Tremors Bar & Grill, she was approached by members of MTV that persuaded her to audition for the fourteenth season of the television reality series The Real World and eventually became a cast member of The Real World: San Diego.[4]
As described by MTV, she is someone who "tells it like it is".[2] Jamie went on to study at the University of California, Riverside to earn her B.A. Economics degree in 2005.[5] While at university, she was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority.[6]
She returned to The Real World franchise in 2005 for a show spin-off Real World/Road Rules Challenge. Since appearing on reality television, Jamie has transitioned into an acting with her 2006 debut on Veronica Mars and continued onto various short minor roles in both television and film such as Greek, ER, CSI: NY and I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry. Her notable roles included a ten episode stint as Cordy Han on daytime soap drama Days of Our Lives and supporting roles in movies such as Sorority Row, Sucker Punch and The Hangover franchise sequels.
Jamie is currently engaged to her actor boyfriend, Bryan Greenberg, who she has been dating since 2012.[7]
