Magic Sand

Magic Sand is a Fairy Tale Land item. It appears in the graphic novel Out of the Past. It is magic sand given to William by a Sea Nymph in another realm. According to the sea nymph, it can neutralize any magic.

Agrabahn Viper Poison

Agrabahn Viper Poison is an Agrabah item. It first appears in the eleventh episode of the first season. It is used by the Agrabahn Vipers to murder King Leopold.[1] Rumplestiltskin uses it to poison Charlotte, in order to force the Count of Monte Cristo to leave Fairy Tale Land. Decades later, King Arthur persuades his squire Grif into ingesting a vial of this poison for the sake of Camelot.[2]

Jafar's Spell Books are Agrabah items. They first appear in the second episode of the spin-off. The cover on one of the spell books[3] has the same design as Amara's spell book,[4] indicating that Jafar took it after he transformed her into a serpent staff.[5][6]

Serpent Staff is an Agrabah item. It first appears in the first episode of the spin-off. In his quest for revenge, Jafar casts a spell on his dark magic instructor, Amara, which transforms her into a snake and then into a serpent staff. He therefore gains all the power of the sorceress. Nonetheless, the staff fails him when he attempts to use Amara's powers to hurt her son, Cyrus.[7]

Its is a much sought-after blue sapphire, and countless sailors have lost their lives trying to find it. Hades offers the stone to Liam Jones, in exchange for letting his cargo ship sink so Hades can have the crew's souls, except for him and his brother Killian, who will be saved. Liam makes the deal, and drives the ship right into a storm. Liam then uses the stone to get him and his brother their dream jobs in the royal navy.

When Rumplestiltskin sends Cinderella off to the ball, he conjures up a pair of glass slippers to go with her ball gown because "every story needs a memorable detail". Cinderella later drops one of the slippers when hurrying away from the ball, and it is found by Prince Thomas.[14]

The medals show motifs from the Labors of Hercules: The Nemean Lion, the Lernaean Hydra, the Ceryneian Hind, the Erymanthian Boar, the Augean stables, the Stymphalian Birds, the Cretan Bull, the Mares of Diomedes, the girdle of Hippolyta, the cattle of the monster Geryon, and the apples of Hesperides. The final labor, Cerberus, is missing, since Hercules hadn't faced him yet.

Hook's Sword

Hook's Sword is an Enchanted Forest item. It first appears in the fourth episode of the second season. When Rumplestiltskin asks for his wife back from Hook, he agrees to do if Rumplestiltskin duels with him and he points his sword at his neck. Years later, Emma needs the sword for a spell to wake Mr. Gold from his coma. She takes it from Hook and crushes it, completing the spell.[15]

With the sword laced in poison, Jack wields this weapon to attack and kill numerous giants, including Arlo, and then meets her own demise after being stabbed by her own sword. It is a navigation tool that can be used to take a traveler on a flying ship to Neverland. The sextant was used by the crew of the Jewel of the Realm. More than a century later, Hook shows the sextant to Henry, while teaching him about sailing.[17]

Lily's Baby Rattle is an Enchanted Forest item. It first appears in the fourteenth episode of the fourth season. Maleficent originally intended to give this to her baby daughter after she was born, but when Lily is stolen and whisked to another land, she uses it to grieve for her absence. Later, Mr. Gold uses the orb on top of the rattle to show Maleficent what happened to Lily, and Maleficent learns that her daughter is still alive. When mother and daughter are reunited, Maleficent gives it to her.[18]

Lily's Necklace is an Enchanted Forest item. It first appears in the fifth episode of the fourth season. Lily always wears it as it was her only memory from her birth mother. When she was a teenager, Lily lost her necklace as she run away from her criminal boyfriend. She asked Emma to take back the necklace for her. Eventually, Lily is reunited with Maleficent, who tells her that the necklace is a piece of her dragon egg, but also her only clue about her father.[19]

Magic Broom is an Enchanted Forest item. It first appears in the fourth episode of the fourth season. It is a broom that belongs to the Apprentice, which he used in his cottage in the Enchanted Forest. In Storybrooke, Mr. Gold transforms it into a walking broomstick. It is later used by Mother Superior to free the Apprentice from the Sorcerer's Hat.[20]

If somebody has evil in their soul, it will be revealed in the mirror's gaze, in which the person's eyes will glow with demonic fire. The mirror was located about an hour's ride away from Belle's castle, and she eventually recovers it. Later, through the mirror's reflection, Belle discovers that Gaston has evil in his soul.

It is a sail made from the last remaining feathers of the winged horse Pegasus, which allows a ship to fly. Neal uses it to uncloak a hidden closet in his father's castle.

Spell Scrolls are Enchanted Forest items. They first appear in the second episode of the first season. They are spells stored in written form. The Dark Curse and the Curse of the Empty-Hearted were both stored this way. When undoing the Dark Curse, Regina had to tear up the scroll.[23]

Smee's Hat is an Enchanted Forest item. It first appears in the fourth episode of the second season. Smee's grandmother knitted this red woolen hat and gave it to him when he was young. Smee believes the hat brings him luck. After the curse is broken, Mr. Gold pours a potion on the hat and forces Smee out of the town line, confirming that the potion works.[24]

Tamara gets hold of the potion and runs technologically advanced tests on it, only to discover it contains no elements from this world, which helps her realize it's actual magic.

Henry finds the key hidden in a drawer inside the Sorcerer's Mansion. It is used to free Isaac from the storybook, and to trap Henry and Isaac within Isaac's story.[25]

Magic Neutralizing Handcuffs are Storybrooke items. They first appear in the seventh episode of the fourth season. They are used on Ingrid, but fail to neutralize her Ice Magic, and are quickly disintegrated by her. Mr. Gold later uses a pair of identical handcuffs[26] to successfully neutralize Regina's powers. Emma later conjures another pair of handcuffs,[27] this pair with longer chains, in New York City to neutralize the Evil Queen's powers so that Regina can destroy her.[28]

Pan's Map is a Neverland item. It first appears in the second episode of the third season. It is an enchanted map of Neverland, given to Emma by Pan. The map only reveals itself to Emma when she accepts who she really is: an orphan.[29]

Pan's Pipe is a Neverland item. It appears in the fourth episode of the third season. It is a pan flute that has been enchanted so that only boys who feel lost and unloved can hear it. Peter Pan uses it to lure a group of children out of Hamelin. These boys become known as the Lost Boys.

Neverland Sand Clock is a Neverland item. It appears in the eight episode of the third season. It is a giant hourglass inside Skull Rock created when Peter Pan made the decision to stay in Neverland. The hour glass represents the magic fueling Pan's youth. Once the sand runs out, Pan will die, unless he finds another way to preserve his youth.

It first appears in the first episode of the sixth season, and is a special kind of enchanted sand that can be used to enter a person's Dream World when sprinkled over their sleeping body. It can be found in the Temple of Morpheus. When used on someone in the Sleeping Curse, the persons soul that is supposed to be in the Netherworld will be transported to his/her Dream World for a limited time, if that time expires he/she will be transported back to the Netherworld.[37]
