An enchanted piece of rope, tied together makes a sort of round picture frame. When you look through it, you can see the last thing that happened at any particular place.

Will Scarlet to Alice src

The Forget Me Knot is a magical item featured on ABC's Once Upon a Time in Wonderland. It first appears in the third episode.

History

After First Curse

In Wonderland, the Caterpillar owns the forget me knot, but it falls into hands of the Red Queen; from whom Grendel steals the item and earns himself a physical disfigurement from her for the theft. Having lost his wife, Grendel relives his happier days with her by placing the forget me knot in their old home. When put in a specific location, the knot shows the user the last incident that took place there. Meanwhile, Alice and the Knave of Hearts discover someone already dug up a genie bottle they were searching for. To find out the thief's identity, Knave suggests using a forget me knot. The twosome agree to retrieve the knot from Grendel so the Caterpillar will forgive the debts Knave owes him. Approaching the Whispering Woods, they are caught by Grendel, who wants to cannibalize them. In the dining room, Knave sees the knot hanging over the table as a scene plays of a youthful Grendel and his wife. He tries talking to Grendel about moving on from the past, but the latter is not interested. While their captor is away, they escape and race for the door. However, an angry bandersnatch crashes right into the house. The beast is tricked into looking into the forget me knot containing an image of Alice and Knave cowering on the floor moments earlier. After the Bandersnatch charges into the knot's loop, Alice secures the rope while Knave kills it. Out of gratitude, Grendel gives Alice the knot. Returning to the missing bottle's location, she and Knave use the knot and see the White Rabbit give the bottle to the Red Queen. Rather than return the knot to the Caterpillar, Knave burns it out of existence. ("Forget Me Not")
