Abraham is a character on ABC's Once Upon a Time. He débuts, with his only appearance, in the thirteenth episode of the second season and is portrayed by co-star C. Ernst Harth.
History
Atop a beanstalk in the Enchanted Forest, Abraham lives with his brothers, Andre, Anton, Argyle and Arlo. As giants, their species used to grow and trade magic beans with humans. However, when humans greedily harnessed the beans to travel to other worlds and conquer them, the giants cut off relations. From then on, giants have only grown magic beans in secret. During one day, the brothers sit down for a meal and wait for Anton, who arrives late to the table. Since Anton is the smallest of all the giants, Abraham picks on him by calling him the nickname "Tiny". As they eat, Arlo gives a speech praising the recent successful harvest of their beans. Unlike his brothers, Anton openly questions the point of having beans when nothing is done with them, which Arlo states is to ensure they do not fall into the hands of humans. When everyone rises to stand for a toast, a golden harp obscured in Anton's sleeve falls out. Scornfully, Abraham mocks him for fancying a human instrument and crushes it in front of Anton, who is so upset he runs out and climbs down the beanstalk. In the human world, Anton befriends Jack and Prince James, and, in his naivety, tries to help them with their kingdom's debts by procuring treasures from the giants' collection. Instead, the humans lead an army up the beanstalk to steal the magic beans. While war breaks out, Abraham and all the other giants are slaughtered, although Anton manages to destroy all the beans.
